Iloilo Gateway Hotel and Suites

We almost didn’t book here because of the bad reviews but we didn’t have much choice because we booked during a holiday long weekend at the very last minute so most of the hotels were fully booked. We booked our first few nights in Iloilo at a different hotel so we only need a one night accommodation near the airport because our flight was early. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was comfortable and nice for its price. It also includes a breakfast buffet for 2pax (it only has a few choices but it was free and considering the price that we paid for our room, its a win!) The staff were also very nice and helpful. We had room service for dinner and their tofu and iced tea were really good. I will rate this hotel a perfect 10 because despite the things that the property were lacking, we also have to consider the amount we paid for such. This isn’t a 4 or 5 star hotel but our experience was really good and comfortable.

Very disappointed with the breakfast! I wish there were more options. 😕😕 Only served us rubbery dried fish which means it’s not cooked through and eggs! That’s it! 😏
